What we collect
What you give us through a form on this site, by phone, or through Spitogatos when you ask about one of our homes. That is your name, phone or email, and what you tell us about the home you want or own. Photos you send lose their location data and are not shared outside Neuval.
To stop automated abuse, we count how often an internet address sends a form or tries to sign in. We store the address only in a scrambled form that cannot be reversed, and delete it within two hours. A backup made in those two hours keeps the scrambled form until the backup is deleted.
The site sets no cookies for visitors and does not track you on other websites. The one exception is a cookie named lang. It is set only when you use the language switch, and remembers your choice for a year.
What stays in your browser
The site keeps a few notes in your own browser. They hold your saved homes, your last search, the date of your last visit (to show what is new), whether you prefer the map or the list, and whether the opening animation has played this visit. They are never sent to us. To delete them, clear this site’s data in your browser.
Why we use it
To answer your request, arrange viewings and valuations, and send you homes that match it. The legal basis is the steps you ask for before a contract. For a form on this site, it is also the consent you give when you send it. To stop abuse of the forms, it is our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
Who else sees it
No one outside Neuval, unless you ask us to share it, for example with a lawyer or a notary during a purchase. A few companies handle it for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare carries every visit to the site, so it sees your internet address. It also keeps our backups, in the European Union.
- netcup runs the server that holds the site and your details, in Vienna, Austria.
- Google carries our email replies to you and holds the requests Spitogatos sends us.
- Resend sends the automatic email that confirms we have your request.
Cloudflare, Google and Resend are American companies, so your details may also be handled in the United States.
Services your browser reaches
To draw the maps, your browser asks OpenFreeMap for map images and labels, and Amazon Web Services for land heights. Both see your internet address. Video tours load from YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode, only when you press play. From then on, YouTube’s privacy terms apply. Fonts load from our own server.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for two years after our last contact, so we know what you were looking for if you come back. Then we delete them. Ask at any time and we delete them sooner, unless the law requires a longer record, for example of a sale.
Your rights
At any time, you can ask to see, correct, restrict or delete your details, get a copy, object to how we use them, or withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr (opens in a new tab)).
